What might you notice if you slowed down?

A familiar-looking trail can hold details you have never noticed. Guided nature walks make room to pause, listen and look alongside other curious people.

What to expect

Listen. Look. Discover more.

Birdwatching begins with observation. A call may draw attention before a bird is visible; shape, movement and colour give you more to notice once you spot it. A guide can point out wildlife and explain its habitat while the group explores. Choose a walk by its pace, distance and surfaces. A relaxed outing can still include uneven ground, and a wheelchair-accessible visitor centre does not mean every trail fits every mobility need.

01

Begin with noticing

Listen, watch a patch of habitat and let a guide help you connect details.

02

Choose your pace

Ask about distance, surfaces and stopping points. The Thursday nature walk offers a slower format than the Saturday bird walk.
