SquareMile founding forms
Form Privacy Notice
Updated October 30, 2026
SquareMile’s website is accepting Community member and Organizer early-access requests and separate launch-notification signups. This notice describes those forms and their current handling. Lightpost Square LLC operates SquareMile; Emergia LLC provides technology and support. Contact info@mysquaremile.app about your information.
You can browse without submitting a form. Allowing optional website analytics is not a condition of submitting a request. Reading this notice or submitting a request is not consent to unrelated marketing.
What the current forms collect
Community member and Organizer early-access forms ask for a preferred name and email address and record the selected request type. The current website does not include an optional Organizer-context field. If you provided Organizer context through an earlier version of the form or in correspondence, that information may remain with your request.
Launch notification requires an email address; preferred name is optional. A separate checkbox records your request for up to two Phoenix Valley launch emails: an advance email if the launch date is confirmed, and an email when the app is live. It does not request early access or sign you up for ongoing marketing.
We also maintain purpose and consent evidence, the notice version, form source, original and repeat submission dates/counts, review status and administrative notes/history. Security handling uses a request identifier, protected payload or challenge-derived values, expiry information and rate-limit information. The security token is processed for verification; hosting and security providers can separately receive technical request information such as IP address and browser details.
How information is used and handled
We use early-access request information to review requests and contact you about access. We use launch-notification information for the separate notification purpose you choose. A request does not create an account, guarantee an invitation or grant Organizer permissions. Recording launch interest does not mean a launch message has already been sent or that a launch date is confirmed.
Authorized Lightpost and Emergia personnel review and administer records. The forms use the SquareMile API hosted on Replit, a configured PostgreSQL database and Cloudflare Turnstile for security verification. Hosting, database, security and email/support providers may process information needed for their roles. Submission itself does not automatically send an invitation or enroll you in a marketing list.
Automated availability, security, duplicate and suppression checks can limit or prevent submissions. These checks protect the forms and do not replace the access-review process. If you separately allow website analytics, an accepted-request event can report the request type to PostHog, without the name, email address or form contents.
Withdraw a request or stop notifications
Email info@mysquaremile.app to withdraw a request or stop launch notifications. We may verify that you control the email address before an operator acts. The withdrawal process applies across founding requests and launch-notification interest associated with that address. Stopping those purposes does not itself erase every historical record.
A protected email-derived suppression record may remain so a repeated submission does not silently restart contact. The suppression record supports your withdrawal choice; its age does not renew consent. Withdrawing website analytics consent is a separate browser choice available through Analytics choices in the footer.
Retention and deletion
Our target is to remove names, email addresses and other identifying text from live form records within 90 days of the original submission. Production cleanup remains manual and unfinished; deletion is not automatic or guaranteed within 90 days, and records may remain longer until reviewed and processed. Minimal purpose/status, consent, notice, review/audit evidence and protected suppression information may remain after identifying text is removed.
Suppression records have a review deadline of 730 days from their creation. This is a review requirement, not automatic deletion or permission to contact you again. Production completion of cleanup and review work requires operator action.
Backups, exports, support correspondence and provider logs have separate retention and deletion arrangements. Removing identifying text from a live form record does not mean all copies in those systems have been erased. Email us to ask about access, correction or deletion; requests are assessed under applicable law and any permitted retention exceptions.
Other website information and changes
The Website Privacy Notice explains ordinary visits, support communications, providers and privacy requests. The Cookie and Browser Storage Policy explains optional analytics, security storage and browser choices. Those choices are separate from the details you voluntarily submit in these forms.
We publish changes here and update the date shown above. Material changes will be identified on this page, and additional notice or a new choice will be provided where required. Existing launch-notification consent does not authorize ongoing marketing or a different purpose.
