About this story
A Halloween jack-in-the-box holds one small surprise and a world of possibilities. A wooden jester springs into view with event-themed keepsakes and confetti, turning a familiar toy into a question: what might be waiting nearby?
The story is about curiosity—the moment an ordinary day becomes a reason to try something new. SquareMile is being built to help Phoenix Valley residents discover local events and experiences and help their organizers get found. The jester and keepsakes are fictional; they suggest the pleasure of discovery rather than announcing a real event or confirmed lineup.
